Stafford and District Friends of Faith has been created to promote good inter-faith relations across Stafford and surrounding areas.

Whilst the area may be predominantly Christian many other faiths, beliefs and other life stances are represented amongst the population.  These include Baha’i, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Spiritualist and other faiths as well as belief systems such as Humanism.

Together these make the area both culturally and religiously diverse and this situation has opened up remarkable opportunities.  We live in a society rooted in common values and acknowledge the vast array of beliefs and practices that can co-exist with mutual understanding and respect.

By taking the initiative, we hope to exercise responsible leadership within the community on matters of inter-faith or inter cultural-tension and urge all citizens both religious and non-religious to put aside intolerance, prejudice and divisiveness to attain peaceful and fruitful coexistence.

The Stafford and Distict Friends of Faith is affiliated with the Interfaith Network which is the UK's network  to promote understanding, cooperation and good relations between organisations and persons of different faiths in the UK.
